Gino joined the firm in 1981 and was admitted as a principal in 1987. A 1979 graduate of Bryant College where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, he came to the firm after two years of cost accounting experience at IBM in East Fishkill, New York.

He provided services to a variety of industries including but not limited to manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers, consultants, personal service corporations ( attorneys, doctors and architects ) and homeowners associations. In addition, he was active in servicing a large individual income tax practice concentrating not only in tax preparation but also tax and estate planning . Gino also was involved in tax issues for elder clients when it comes to Medicaid planning.

He was one of two principals who has completed Accountants Boot Camp, sponsored and presented by Results Accountants Systems (RAS). Boot camp is an intensive week long program designed to capitalize on CPA’s unique perspective of business and turn that knowledge into results for business owners.

Gino prided himself on client involvement and the relationship with his clients that develop through personalized attention and concern for the client’s financial affairs.

He was a member of The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and The Estate and Business Planning Council of Hartford, Inc. He was active in various community affairs as past treasurer of the Alzheimer’s Association of Northern Connecticut, West Hartford Community Television Access Station and the West Hartford Symphony Orchestra. In addition, he was active as treasurer for Governor Jodi Rell in her successful 2006 campaign and also for many candidates for Town Council and the Board of Education. Gino also enjoyed coaching soccer in the West Hartford league with his three children.
